The oath-taking of barangay officials and Sangguniang Kabataan officials was held last August 10, 2002 at the Municipal Public Market. This was preceded by a thanksgiving mass at the St. Joseph the Worker Church. All the 23 barangays participated in the oath-taking. Congrsswoman Gabrielle V. Calizo was the inducting officer. Gov. Florencio T. Miraflores also witnessed the occasion.
