Mayor's Cup Basketball Tournament 2003 Malinao Town Fiesta 2203 The Mayors' Cup is the annual summer sports festival sponsored by the municipal government.  It is on its 11th year.  Different sports are played.  For this year there is boxing, volleyball, baseball, tennis, Hakwathon and chess.  But is is the basketball tournament that is being given the most importance as this is where there is the most interest and the most participants. The opening parade and program for the basketball tournament was held on April 6 at the town plaza.  The other games would be held as the date of the fiesta nears.
