VEGETABLE HARVEST FESTIVAL Bulabud, Malinao

A model vegetable farm in Bulabud is the site of a festival celebrating the harvest of different vegetables. This is a joint project of the local government of Malinao, the Aklan State University (ASU), the Agriculture Training Institute (ATI) and the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). A 2,000 square-meter rice field was converted into a vegetable and fish producing area using advanced technologies. The lot is owned by former Bulabud Barangay Captain Pepito Maagma.
